WORK EXPERIENCE

Education & Community Engagement Intern, The Goodman Theatre, Chicago, IL

 Summer 2010
Education Intern, Underground Railway Theater, Cambridge, MA
  • Served as assistant teacher for Youth Underground (ages 13-18),
    a program that connects theatre to community dialogue.
  • Created and executed lesson plans; led exercises in acting, performance preparation, and collaboration.
  • Coordinated week-long residency with Al-Rowwad Cultural & Theatre Center from Palestine.
 Summer 2009
Actor, History Alive!, Salem, MA
  • Collaborated directly with playwright and directors to research and workshop theatre based on New England history.
  • Performed shows three times daily; shared historical information through dramatic improvisations with audiences.

Lead Teacher, Musical Theatre Experiences, Belmont, MA
  • Taught acting, singing, and dance to children ages 5 – 14.
  • Raised children’s social and dramatic awareness through instruction and positive role modeling.
